What do you do when you’re not on computer?
Do you revel in the simple pleasures of your daily life?
Do you give yourself time to stare into the eyes of whatever is blocking you until you find yourself on the other side?
Do you set aside everything to go outside to have a glorious adventure?
Yes.
This is what I’ve been doing lately.
This might sound easy, but it’s not. You know, the attack of the thought forms.
Are your reveling in the simple pleasures of life or are you hiding out to avoid the ugliness lurking?
Are you facing your inner blocks really, maybe even getting made enough to break through, or are you trying to control the changes you feel inside and out that make the blocked goals irrelevant anyhow?
How different would your life be now if you hadn’t said yes to crushing that box, and really explored what lay outside it.
What have I been doing?
Well, on February 24th and again on April 21st I was in the Oriente, the eastern rainforest of Ecuador that, according to friends who were there, feels like Kaui sixty years ago, participating in sacred plant medicine ceremonies with Shuar leaders. During my visits there I’ve become friends with a Shuar writer, Anita Sharian, who is head of culture for the barrio of Morena Santiago. Anita has asked me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding next February and to come spend time with her in her village. I have found another piece of Home. I have given another part of my heart to that incredible land on which I have experienced deep spiritual bonding with Nature HerSelf and people who love la Pachamama as much as I do.
I have become beloved friends with the man who invited me along on these adventures and who since has taken the apartment on the floor above me. I have discovered that supporting Anita in her work is providing momentum for mine. We’re printing paperbacks here as well as offering digital copies on Amazon.
Next week some of the Shuar leaders are coming this way to offer the sacred medicine without cost to any who wish to open their spiritual channels. And – surprise from the Universe – an amazing woman bought the place next door to me and is having incredible new moon ceremonies. In spite of my resistance – yawn, been there, done that – I went and met women with whom I have formed a deep heart connection. Right next door!
Am I both inspired and overwhelmed? Uh…duh.
Am I having fun or what? Uh…duh.
Am I thrilled and excited – or panicked and tempted to shut down? Uh…yeah.
Am I tired enough of lethargy to push through, if just a bit at a time? Uh…that would be yeppers.
Am I thrilled with the growth happening? Oh, hell, yes!
When you don’t see my name in your Inbox, it’s because I’m out living! I’ll bet you are, too, because we’ve learned the distinction between real and virtual. That was part of getting in touch with our bodies, those sophisticated tools for sensation that make this silly hologram a game worth playing. Let’s keep doing it – embracing actual experiences – and let it inform our ability to envision what we want to live next. Then we have more to offer when we actually get back online.
